It was an exciting day at the 2012 Philly International Flower Show. There was so much to see and take in. I meet allot of interesting vendors and saw wonderful displays of flowers and vegetable gardens. I was especially taken back by the vegetable garden displays created by Meadow Brook Farms. They constructed a model home with a front and back yard. They planted a garden bed with flowers in the front yard and in the back and side of the house a vertical herb and lettuce wall that was simple incredible. I especially loved the back yard tomato arbor. They grew tomato's as if they we're grapes; small cherry tomatoes hung down from on top of the arbor. If you look up- beautiful sweet and ripe cherry tomato's at arms reach. The cold frames they constructed in the backyard were filled with loads and loads of vegetables. The floral table runner planted into a table was also a great idea. I could not leave this place and I took many pictures to take back home with me so that one day I could duplicate this same look in my own home.
